Tenuta Guado al Tasso is located near Bolgheri, on the Tuscan coast, in the center of the so-called "Bolgheri amphitheater": rolling hills surround a beautiful plain that slopes down to the sea, creating a unique microclimate.
Since 1996, the Antinori have been producing here the Vermentino, a white wine that, thanks to the special climatic conditions of the area, stands out for its harmony and freshness.
This white is enveloping, balanced and very pleasant, perfect to accompany a wide range of occasions.
Tasting notes: by straw yellow color with greenish highlights. The nose is fragrant and intense, aromas of yellow fruits and white flowers combine with citrus notes, composing the characteristic aromatic profile. The palate is pleasant, savory, with an excellent balance between freshness and mineral component. Long and slightly citrusy the finish.
Pairings: excellent as an aperitif, goes well with fried food of all kinds. Perfect with a shrimp tempura.

Vinification | Each parcel was harvested separately, depending on the ripeness level of the grapes, in order to enhance the complex territorial characteristics of each vineyard. Upon arrival at the winery, the grapes were destemmed, gently crushed and softly pressed. The must obtained was transferred to stainless steel tanks where the alcoholic fermentation at a temperature of 16 °C. |
