The Cabernet Franc made by Ca' Bolani is a wine that matures for several months in oak barrels, an evolutionary step that has enhanced this grape variety without distorting its varietal, delivering us a label that can pair beautifully with menus where meat plays a starring role.
The grapes, carefully selected during the harvest phase, vinify in steel, macerating for 8-10 days and also carrying out malolactic fermentation. This is followed by aging, carried out for several months in oak barrels. A Friuli Aquileia DOC to try to indulge in a sip that is elegant and never overpowering.
Tasting Notes.: In the glass it has a typically ruby color, deep and bright. The set of scents that make up the olfactory profile is centered on notes of small berries, also enhanced by spicy nuances. The palate is full-bodied, round and full, with a finely integrated tannic texture and a subtle and elegant sip.
Pairings: perfect paired with main courses of red meat, it also goes well with long-aged cheeses. Wonderful with a Chianina hamburger.
