Kaltern's Alto Adige Müller Thurgau DOC comes from grapes grown between 550 and 650 meters above sea level and matures for three months, on fine lees, in steel tanks. As much as it comes from a grape tempered to cold mountain climates, it seems to vibrate with surf and waves and, on the nose, beguiles with the fiery scent of sage in the sun.
Tasting Notes.: Straw yellow in color, with greenish highlights. The nose is expressed with hints of peach and apricot and hints of elderflower. The palate is fresh, savory and well balanced.
Pairings: also excellent as an aperitif, it lends itself to brightening summer dinners as an accompaniment to fish dishes, boiled or grilled.
