This Kaltern Alto Adige DOC comes from pure pinot bianco grapes grown between 450 and 600 meters above sea level. Pinot bianco was brought to South Tyrol in 1852 by Archduke John of Austria and has since become so integrated that it has erected this region as its territory of choice.
Matured for three months, on fine lees, in stainless steel tanks, it is a wine of pleasing finesse, inviting a relaxed and refreshing sip.
Tasting Notes: by. straw yellow color, with greenish reflections. The nose is expressed with fruity hints of golden apple and pear and notes of white flowers. The palate reveals freshness, pleasant sapidity and good balance.
Pairings: also excellent as an aperitif, it goes well with light appetizers and fish dishes.
