In front of the Rosso di Montalcino by Biondi-Santi it is possible to say without a shadow of a doubt that this is the absolute champion of the appellation. A small Brunello, whose peculiarity is that it comes from the youngest vineyards of the Greppo Estate, between 5 and 10 years old, and matures for a somewhat shorter period than its big brother: about 12 months in large Slavonian oak barrels.
Tasting Notes: by ruby red color, intense. Intense, with hints of vanilla. Harmonious, structured, warm, savory and persistent.
Pairings: Perfect throughout a meal, it is exalted with rich beef dishes, especially grilled.
