A journey of discovery through the selection Tenuta Perano of Marchesi Frescobaldi through three wines. The wooden box contains. 3 bottles 0.75 L:
- Chianti Classico 2021 Docg Tenuta Perano -. Frescobaldi
The Chianti Classico Tenuta Perano was born in the hills of Gaiole in Chianti, from vineyards positioned at 500 meters above sea level. The south-southwest exposure, and especially the amphitheater shape of the vineyards, favors insolation and concentrates heat.
Tasting Notes: brilliant purplish color. On the nose, floral scents are joined by fruity notes of blackberry, raspberry and cherry. This is followed by balsamic notes of eucalyptus and thyme, minerals of graphite and spice of pink pepper. The tannic texture is typical of the Chianti Classico, capable of caressing the palate, leaving it clean and fresh. Persistent and intense even in the finish, with hints of walnut husk.
Pairings: ideal with meat ragouts and all red meats. It is exalted in pairings with medium- and long-aged cheeses.
- Chianti Classico 2020 Riserva Docg Tenuta Perano - Frescobaldi
In the heart of the Chianti Classico, in a natural amphitheater facing southwest with exceptional pedoclimatic conditions for uniqueness and quality, comes this Riserva di Chianti Classico.
Tasting notes: by ruby red color brilliant with violet hues. Its bouquet is complex and intense. Floral hints immediately pervade the sense of smell, ranging from violet violet to dog rose; fruity notes are not slow to make their entrance, with hints reminiscent of blackcurrant and blueberry. With time the emphasis is on tertiary notes recalling nutmeg and black pepper, but also cocoa powder. The balsamic sensation lends infinite elegance to the wine. In the mouth it surprises with its freshness, persistence and length.
Pairings: Perfect with Fiorentina steak and game. Also excellent with aged cheeses.
- Chianti Classico Gran Selezione 2019 Docg Rialzi Tenuta Perano -. Frescobaldi
This wine is a dream chased for years. From the Perano Estate, strongly desired by my entire Family, we chose the Rialzi estate, which rises from the others thanks to three characteristic natural terraces. A Grand Selection that, as the name implies, reminds me every day of the continuous commitment to excellence.
Tasting Notes: deep ruby red in color and clear at the same time, with some garnet nuances. On the nose, fruit and spice are the predominant scents: currant, blueberry and black pepper. These then give way to tertiary notes of roasted, coffee bean and tobacco. On the palate its richness and depth stand out, perfectly harmonized by the characteristic elegance of a Sangiovese at these altitudes.
Pairings: lmeat is the natural match, as is game, both fur and feather. Try it with roast guinea fowl.
