Aspiration to Development: this is the message that the "Alois Lageder" winery wants to convey with the label of its Sauvignon Blanc. Aspiration to Development for a white that really develops well, as much in the nose scents as in the taste aromas. Vinified in stainless steel and left to age for about four months on fine lees, this is an extremely drinkable Sauvignon, well-calibrated in every smallest detail and capable of offering a really pleasant sip. It is a Sauvignon not to be missed.
Tasting Notes.: Straw yellow to the eye, with delicate greenish highlights. Discreetly aromatic on the nose, opened by floral and fruity notes, complemented by vegetal hints and mineral nuances. Fresh and full-bodied the sip, as fruity as the nose and of good length.
Pairings: Eclectic at the table, it is excellent paired with frittata with asparagus.
