An elite DOCG Riserva, which originates from the best bunches of sangiovese carefully selected by the Castello di Arbola team within eight different vineyard parcels, each capable of bringing just the right nuance to the final product. The grapes, after harvest, vinify in steel, fermenting and macerating on the skins.
Then comes the aging phase, in which the wine matures for 14 months in oak barrels and then, after bottling, for an additional 18 months in glass. A label that transforms the warmth of the Chianti Classico terroir into expressive power.
Tasting Notes.: presents itself to the eye with a ruby color, compact and firm. The range of aromas that develops on the nose recalls notes of well-ripened fruit, alternating with sensations of tobacco, licorice and sweet spices. The palate is ample, round and swaddling, with a perfectly balanced sip, marked by a long finish.
Pairings: goes especially well with main courses of red meat. Also perfect with aged cheeses, it is at its best with polenta and wild boar.
