La Vis

Founded in 1948 on the initiative of a few local winegrowers, La Vis's is a winery that today can boast more than eight hundred members, working more than eight hundred hectares of vineyards.
A winery of great significance, which stands as one of the most important Italian cooperatives, capable of combining like few others history, large numbers and quality, along a path made possible also thanks to the fundamental zoning project started in 1980, named "the right vine in the right place": a pioneering study of the unique characteristics, which starting from the peculiarities proper to the individual plots of all the members, has allowed to enhance their individual connotations, thus leading to the production of wines that are always different, always of great territorial adherence, always highly faithful to their origins. A result that could not have been achieved without the convinced adhesion of a strongly motivated social base united in the desire to pursue the most total quality. It is in fact thanks to the continuous work of all the members if today that of La Vis is a range characterized by wines of great elegance and generosity, whites and reds that are born in one of the most fascinating and impervious territories of Italy: Trentino.
It all starts from the work between the rows, where each variety - from chardonnay to pinot grigio, from müller thurgau to schiava, to pinot noir, merlot, teroldego and lagrein - is given the utmost attention, just as the utmost care is given to each single plant, in order to maintain the most perfect balance of nature, ecosystem, environment and biodiversity. In the winery, then, equally scrupulous respect is given to the intrinsic characteristics of the raw material, which in each production step is enhanced by always trying to exalt all that the season and the territory have been able to get to express in the grapes.
This is how, divided into several lines, the "La Vis" branded bottles come to life, that is, wines that know how to please even the most refined palates and the most refined tastes, as well as labels for every occasion. Wines that are punctually excellent.
