La Braccesca spreads over 508 hectares where the ancient farm of the Bracci counts once stood, hence the name of the estate and its coat of arms: an arm covered in armor holding a sword. The total area of vineyards is 340 hectares divided into two bodies: the first, of 366 hectares of which 237 are planted in vineyards is located on the border between the municipalities of Montepulciano and Cortona.

The other parcel, 142 hectares of which 103 are planted with vines, extends all the way to Montepulciano between three of the most renowned subzones for the production of great red wines: Cervognano, Santa Pia and Gracciano. The first vintage of La Braccesca Vino Nobile di Montepulciano DOCG was 1990.

Tasting Notes: by ruby red color intense. The nose stands out for fruity notes well in harmony with pleasant hints of vanilla and violet. The palate is balanced and pleasant, characterized by a good persistence of strawberry and cherry aromas. Delicate notes of vanilla and soft tannins complete the long finish.

Pairings: perfect with whole meal, it goes well with rich main courses of meat, including game. Try it with a sangiovese risotto.
