A wine with great drinkability, this Barbera d'Asti DOCG "La Crena" by Vietti, ideal to accompany a Piedmontese dinner with classic bagna càuda or tajarin with butter, sage and white truffle. The wine comes from the Crena Cru, in the municipality of Agliano d'Asti, a super vineyard planted - no less - in 1932, on soil mixed with silt and clay.
Tasting notes: by. ruby red color. On olfactory analysis, aromas of cherry, blueberry and vanilla emerge. The palate is intense, with perfect correspondence of the aromas perceived on the nose, plus an unexpected licorice aroma on the finish. Elegant.
Pairings: excellent throughout a meal, it goes very well with roasted and braised meats. We recommend it with a tasty Strachitund from Bergamo, for a Piedmont-Lombardy twinning!
