Cà Bianca

Ca' Bianca Winery was established in 1952 in the Alexandria part of the Upper Monferrato, now part of the small municipality of Alice Bel Colle a few kilometers from Acqui Terme. The name is inspired by the local name for the area "al ca' bianche."

The winery's current location is in "Cascina Spagna," a farm purchased in the 1980s' with historical origins dating back to the period of the Spanish conflict against France and the Venetian Republic in the second decade of the 1600s. Its location on the high hill was at the very least strategic, offering control of all the passages in the entire valley below.

In August 1997 the property was expanded by the Cascina Polsino estate of about 9 hectares planted with vines in a single body in a more valuable area of the estate.
