Gillardi Vini
The Italy-French axis is part of the history of the Gilladi: Giovanni Battista emigrated from Piedmont to Provence towards the end of 1890. Here a wines trade began, but his great attachment to the land of origin brought him back to the Langhe, where he began to produce sweet grapes. The turning point in 1923 with the purchase of the Cascina Cobaletto. Here his son Giacomo continued the work of study on a magical territory for land, exposure and jacuing. Only in 1980 Giovanni Battista, son of Giacomo, with the young Giaolino, winemaker at the Alba school, began production in the bottle. Our modus operandi has always been marked by respect for the surrounding environment: biological conduction of the vineyards, with seasonal overwhelming, natural fertilizers, exclusively mechanical deceptions and minimum use of copper and derivatives, for absolute respect for biodiversity.
