Greco di Tufo

The Greco di Tufo grape, as the name also underlines, has very ancient origins that date back to the advent of the Greeks in our Peninsula. Initially its production was concentrated on the Vesuvian slopes, while today it is mainly cultivated in Tufo, province of Avellino and in the neighboring provinces. Greco di Tufo has a straw yellow, almost golden color and is distinguished by fruity aromas such as almonds, quince, peach, and honey. On the palate it is acidic, salty but fresh and soft: it is a very structured wine, which nevertheless presents a profound balance. The leaves of the Greco di Tufo vine are small and generally have a pentagonal shape. The long, compact, cylindrical cluster has small elliptical berries with yellow-green and pruinose skin. On Vinolog24 you will find a wide selection of Greco di Tufo wine that stands out for its unmistakable golden color and for its fruity and decisive taste.
