The Gavi DOCG "Villa Sparina" is the winery's historic wine. It is made from cortese grapes, from 30-year-old vines grown on clay and marl soils in the Gavi. It is a wine that has just the right acidity and great pleasantness, a balanced wine with a fresh immediacy, has an excellent drinkability and seems to be the meeting point between tradition and contemporaneity.
Tasting Notes: of a beautiful straw yellow intense with golden highlights. It is bright and of good texture. The nose is forthright, offering floral and fruity notes, elegant and very clean. The palate is fresh and pleasant, good drinking and medium-bodied, has a nice crispness.
Pairings: you can drink it as an aperitif, accompanying it with savory pies or fresh fish, vegetable dishes or simple cheeses.
