Pinot Grigio
Pinot Grigio is a grape probably obtained from Pinot Noir. It is part of the group of “international” grape varieties originating in France and cultivated in various parts of the world. In Italy it is grown mainly in Veneto and Trentino and gives rise to a wine that stands out for a coppery color even if it is often vinified in white, however if it comes into contact with the skins it takes on a natural orange tone. The Pinot Grigio grape is distinguished by small leaves with a trefoil or cuneiform shape, with a short cluster, a cylindrical and very compact structure. The berries have a spherical shape with a thin pruinose skin and are pink in color. Vinolog24 offers a wide selection of Pinot Grigio wine which has a straw yellow color with golden reflections, while on the palate it is fruity, dry and full-bodied.
