The red wine Altitude 2021 Docg Valtellina Superiore Riserva from the Mamete winery is made from late-harvest grapes from the highest vineyards, above 400m, in the Valtellina Superiore area.
Intense, spicy sensations and a vigorous palate only add personality to this already assertive Nebbiolo. Left to rest patiently for 24 months, but certainly time will not dampen its character.
Tasting Notes.: from the color intense garnet red. Spicy aroma with hints of red fruit jam and wilted rose. Intense, round and warm taste with a long persistence. Wine of great structure, elegant and assertive.
Pairings: perfect with meat dishes and hard, aged cheeses.
