"Dimonios" owes its name to the anthem of the Sassari Brigade, created in 1915 and above all the only unit in the Italian army to be composed exclusively of members from the same region: Sardinia. Never better wine could therefore have become the symbol of the Sardinian island more than this Cannonau Riserva represents it. A Red wine labeled "Sella & Mosca," which comes from pure Cannonau grapes, harvested in the southeast quadrant and other small plots of the estate deemed most suitable.
Tasting Notes.: at the sight of a beautiful ruby red. The nose is set initially on hints of ripe red fruit, then veers sharply toward hints of Mediterranean scrub, with myrtle, rosemary, pine needles and wet earth composing a beautiful olfactory bouquet. The mouth is creamy and enveloping, balanced between fruit and marine nuances. Long persistence and spicy finish.
Pairings: excellent with meats, it is best tried with chicken cacciatore.
