The Estate Classics Alois Lageder reflect the countless facets of Alto Adige wine production by highlighting its wide range of varieties. Whites and reds that are vinified predominantly from grapes sourced from trusted vintners whose vineyards are carefully selected by the estate based on their specific varietal suitability. Winemakers to whom the estate is linked by a long-standing collaboration, with whom it shares all its quality goals. The Chardonnay, from selected vineyards in Magrè, Salorno, Cortaccia and Pochi, is a fresh and articulate white whose vinification takes place in large steel tanks in order to maintain its natural fragrance characteristics. An ideal wine to accompany both an aperitif and a fine dinner.
Tasting notes: Straw yellow with faint green highlights. The nose expresses a delicate and fruity bouquet typical of the grape variety with notes of ripe exotic fruit. The palate is full-bodied, the acidity is fresh and lively, the aftertaste of medium persistence.
Pairings: Excellent as an aperitif, it goes well with light appetizers including fish, shellfish and poultry in general.
