This wine, chosen by the Family Frescobaldi to continue the tradition of reserving a Private Collection for its new born, originates from the oldest vines of Castello Nipozzano, endowed with a deep root system. Of great complexity and harmony, it is aged for 24 months in oak barrels as per ancient Tuscan tradition.
Tasting Notes: Intense and brilliant ruby red color. On the nose, the floral and fruity notes are perfectly integrated with the spice. Rosehips and violets, stand out among them all, and are balanced with hints of small red berries. A persistent balsamicity and elegant toastiness complete the nose.
Pairings: with structured pasta dishes or to meat preparations, it is perfect with stuffed cannelloni.
