In my opinion Cortese is among the best white wines from Piedmont. In the Past it was said that ours was a land of reds--sorry I disagree! Whites can also be of a great standard. Try uncorking a bottle after 3 to 4 years and you will be amazed... A dry white wine with citrus, hawthorn and herbal notes. My favorite with an asparagus risotto....
Tasting Notes: by. straw yellow color. Fine bouquet of good intensity and persistence gives slightly floral scents. It presents fresh, graceful and with good structure.
Pairings: perfect with fish, shellfish, cheeses.
