It is with the classic line, which includes only wines made from typical South Tyrolean varieties, that Colterenzio (Kellerei Schreckbichl) tells the clearest expressions of its terroir. From a careful selection of lagrein from the Gries vineyards comes a complex and elegant red, characterized by notes of violets, cinnamon and red berries.

Vinified and left to mature in steel tanks only in order to preserve its freshness, the Alto Adige Lagrein DOC from Colterenzio (Kellerei Schreckbichl) is a wine that is exalted on the most diverse occasions, especially during a nice dinner with friends.

Tasting Notes: by color rgarnet bone intense with violet hues. The nose expresses beautiful notes of violets, black berries, hints of chocolate and intense spicy aromas. The palate is powerful, characterized by a tannic texture of good structure and the typical acidity of the grape variety. Aromas of berries and cherries outline its body until the finish, which is of good persistence.

Pairings: a whole meal is a very versatile wine, excellent in combination with South Tyrolean cuisine. Ideal with speck and cured meats, but especially roasted meats and game.
