Flagship wine of the winery born in 1985, Ornellaia is the result of a careful selection of Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Petit Verdot vineyards grown within the estate.
Tasting Notes: by red color intense ruby. The nose reveals intense, fully ripe fruit but at the same time fresh and vibrant, underscored by delicate balsamic and toasty notes. In the mouth impresses great concentration with an impressive tannic structure, but particularly velvety and smooth allowing the wine to expand throughout the mouth without leaving any heaviness. The finish lingers with balsamic and spicy notes and a welcome note of freshness.
Pairings: Perfect with red meats, game, braised meats, aged cheeses.
