"Daivej," which would actually be "dai vej," which literally translated from Piedmontese to Italian becomes "dai vecchi." A name by which the winery Deltetto identifies its own Roero Arneis, son (how could one be wrong) of those lands that have always belonged to the family's original farmstead. An Arneis, the one produced by the Cuneo winery, that matures partly in cement and partly in steel, to arrive and give a typical, fresh, fruity and pleasant sip.
Elegant in its fragrance, it is a versatile Arneis at the table, capable of pairing with the most diverse preparations. It is a Piedmontese white to always keep in stock in your cellar, because you will want to uncork it more often than you can imagine.
Tasting Notes: by. straw yellow color color to the eye. The olfactory scents are mainly fruity, characterized by memories of apple, tropical fruit and gooseberry, then enhanced by nuances of bitter almond, lime blossom and herbs. Well set on the acid shoulder the palate, fresh and pleasantly savory. Of good persistence.
Pairings: versatile in food pairings, it is best paired with cereal soup.
