Among the most representative grape varieties of the wide Friuli Aquileia DOC area, sauvignon has found in this area a place where it can best express itself. In fact, thanks to the particular climatic conditions of this area, facing the sea, the wines produced here are intense and engaging.
Ca' Bolani's Sauvignon is no exception, precise in expressing those varietal characteristics that make this grape variety one of the most appreciated in the world.
The grapes, carefully selected during the harvest phase, vinify in steel, where they remain to rest for a few months, until it is time to proceed with bottling operations. Must try!
Tasting notes: To the eye it appears with a bright straw color, characterized by very slight greenish highlights at the rim. The nose is dominated by a set of variegated scents, in which pink grapefruit, white peach, hawthorn, tomato leaf and mint represent the most prominent notes. The palate is lively, streamlined, with a perfect taste-olfactory correspondence. It closes with a fresh finish, endowed with excellent persistence.
Pairings: for the whole meal, Ca' Bolani's Sauvignon pairs well with egg and vegetable-based appetizers, as well as with shellfish-based first courses.
