Sortesele 2022 Doc Pinot Grigio Valdadige - Santi

A child of the border lands of Valdadige, whose vocation for viticulture and winemaking has its roots since the time of the ancient Romans, the Pinot Grigio of Santi is called in dialect "Sortesele" in reference to vineyard plots that, according to an ancient tradition, in order to avoid disputes between relatives, were drawn lots and the best parts were assigned to the luckiest. 

Tasting Notes: by coppery gold color in the swivel glass. This Italian varietal wine has wonderful expressive notes of plums, vineyard peach, black cherry and prunes in the glass. In addition, there are hints of other fruits On the palate, the Pinot Grigio Valdadige donkey variety of Santi opens pleasantly dry, grippy and aromatic. On the tongue, this light-footed white wine has an incredibly velvety and crisp texture. 

Pairings: perfect as an aperitif, excellent at the table with fish and shellfish first courses, perfect with white meats, grilled fish and with soufflés.
