It comes to life from vineyards that are farmed on limestone-clay soils that are able to bring out the savory notes to the fullest along with fruity memories as well: all this translates into the Vermentino of Sardinia "Ambat," produced by "Sella & Mosca." A white that comes from maniacal attention, both in the vineyard with the low yields per hectare, and in the cellar with minimal artificial interventions focused on enhancing the varietal.
Tasting Notes.: to the eye of a beautiful straw yellow. The nose is rich and complex, marked by floral notes and hints of white-fleshed fruit, with nuances of almond and anise to round it all out. The palate is smooth and consistent at the same time, traversed by a definite sapidity and of excellent length.
Pairings: perfect for accompanying seafood dishes, it is excellent together with sole fillets sautéed in butter and tarragon.
