In the heart of the Friuli Aquileia DOC terroir are the sauvignon blanc vineyards from which "Aquilis" originates, a highly expressive Friulian white wine that presents itself to the nose and palate with intense aromas and flavors. The grapes, after the harvest, vinify in oak barrels, where they then continue to mature for about 8 months, until bottling operations take place.
A Sauvignon signed by Ca' Bolani of beautiful structure, capable of evolving over time, able to give emotions for the next 2-3 years. It deserves space in the cellar of every enthusiast.
Tasting Notes.: On visual examination, it presents itself with a straw color, very bright and inviting. The nose is typically varietal, with notes of vegetation and herbs alternating with more fruity sensations. In the mouth it is medium-bodied, with a sip characterized by a savory flavor, persistent even in the finish.
Pairings: very versatile in cooking, it pairs well with fish, legume and white meat recipes. Absolutely try it with a turkey, spinach and raisin rolata, accompanied by caramelized spring onions.
