  • Sauvignon Blanc 2023 IGT Venezia Giulia - Attems Frescobaldi

A Sauvignon with inherent complexity, based on the distinctive characteristics that enhance the typicality of the grape variety used. Marchesi Frescobaldi, in the Friulian estate of Attems, created this Venezia Giulia IGT to express an aromatic white, characterized by vegetal and herbaceous notes on the nose and a savory taste that reflects the essence of the sauvignon grape.

Tasting Notes.: Straw yellow in color, with beautiful green highlights. The bouquet is distinctive with boxwood, tomato leaf and an intense hint of grapefruit zest. Sensations that expand on the palate, which is exuberant with characteristic acidity. Lime blossom and lime accompany the lingering, bright finish.

Pairings: Perfect to enjoy with asparagus dishes, green and white. It is also interesting to pair with fish and vegetable tempura.

 

  • Chardonnay 2023 IGT Venezia Giulia - Attems Frescobaldi

The Venezia Giulia Chardonnay IGT by Attems comes from vineyards located among the plains and hills of the province of Gorizia. This white wine is vinified in steel containers and second-passage barriques, and then aged for 4 months on the noble lees.

The palate is rich, with a wide range of nuances, complex but pleasantly balanced.

Tasting Notes.: by straw yellow color intense and bright. Characteristic aromas of hazelnut, tropical fruit with a slight hint of peach blossom. On the palate, the balance between acidity and body play a key role in enhancing a very delicate tannin texture. Spicy finish of vanilla, coffee and ginger.

Pairings: its freshness and fruity notes make it an excellent match with white meat stuffed pasta and cheeses. Also ideal with stewed fish.

 

  • Cicinis 2021 Doc Collio - Attems Frescobaldi
Cicinis is the expression of Conti Attems; it is named after the hill where they were planted Sauvignon, Pinot Blanc and Friulano, in a similar percentage as the blend: 60 percent Sauvignon, 20 % Friulano and 20% Pinot Blanc.

Tasting Notes.: of. golden yellow color intense clear and bright with nice texture. The nose is intense and complex, rich in sweet (honey) and tropical fruit aromas, apple, white peach, pineapple and banana. The sweetness of tropical fruit alternates with floral nuances and the bouquet then develops with delicately spiced notes such as cinnamon and vanilla. In the mouth it is fresh, soft and balanced, warm and beautifully drinkable. Mineral and persistent on the finish.

Pairings: To accompany dishes characterized by good fat content such as pork (sausages, ribs). Otherwise, legume soups without tomato, cream of mushroom soup and chicken cooked in a pan with vegetables.
