Younger sibling of "Cima," the 2013 vintage "Bricco Battista" is a pure barbera that stands out for its impenetrable color, delicate balance to the drink and extraordinary ability to level out over time. It matures in large tonneaux for about 18 months. It is vinified using traditional methods for a period of 15 to 20 days. Malolactic fermentation is spontaneous. A connoisseur wine with excellent value for money.
Tasting Notes.: Ruby red, deep, almost impenetrable. Beautiful fruity (berry jam), spicy and toasty nose. The drink satisfies the palate with its freshness and well unfolded tannins. Savory finish where balsamic hints dominate. Wine in full evolution, to be waited patiently to enjoy it fully.
Pairings: For this Piedmontese red, we choose a delicious meat and aged cheese dish. The mix is definitely a winner!
