Long known as Tocai Friulano, although profoundly different from the Hungarian grape variety of the same name, it is the quintessential Friulian white wine, the one that more than any other identifies with the territory in which it is born. The result is taut, mineral wines with excellent structure, always characterized by the presence of a certain minerality.
Tasting Notes: by. g colorstraw yellow with greenish highlights, the nose expresses a beautiful bouquet that ranges from the aromatic herbs typical of the grape variety to pleasant fruity and slightly floral hints. The background is a diffuse minerality that slowly introduces a dry, full taste with excellent structure and balance. Freshness and acidity chase each other and meet before a lovely finish of excellent persistence.
Pairings: pieno and responsive, the Friulano di Puiatti pairs well with a typical appetizer of Prosciutto di San Daniele. Also with grilled white meats.
