La Tenuta Guado al Tasso is located near Bolgheri, on the Tuscan coast, in the center of the so-called "Bolgheri amphitheater": soft hills surround a beautiful plain sloping down to the sea and creating a microclimate with unique characteristics.
It is here that, since 1990, one of the appellation's most famous wines, Guado al Tasso, has been produced. A red that takes its name from the animals that cross the fords of the waterways near the estate.
A unique red, capable of telling all the strength and softness of this strip of Maremma expressing a distinctly Mediterranean character made of power, elegance and balance.
Tasting Notes: by. dark ruby red color, is a wine with a broad olfactory impact, with notes of mint, coffee, plum and spices that follow one another and blend in constant evolution. On the palate, the texture of the tannins is extraordinarily dense and silky. A deep and long wine of great elegance.
Pairings: throughout a meal, it goes well with rich meat-based main courses, braised meats in particular.
