In the Piedmontese dialect, the word "Braja" literally means "shout," but with the same term today, the thought immediately goes to the Roero labeled "Deltetto". Interpreted in the "Riserva" version, it is a red wine in which nebbiolo grapes, vinified in purity, are left to rest for at least two years in oak barrels and barriques.
The son of a vineyard that enjoys excellent exposures and an extraordinary microclimate, it is a Roero worked to the chisel, elegant in its tannic texture and capable of proposing fine aging potential. To be chosen for weekend conviviality, it is a red that will certainly not betray expectations.
Tasting Notes.: at the sight of a fine ruby red, bright and intense. The olfactory picture perceived by the nose is composed of floral hints of violets and roses, then red fruit flavors, and finally tertiaries of rhubarb, spices, mint and chocolate. Excellent structure in the mouth, driven by an important and well-integrated tannic texture, and characterized by excellent freshness. Excellent length as well.
Pairings: to be paired with meat-based second courses, it should be tried to accompany sweet and sour rooster.
