The Review of Astoria comes from selected vineyards located in the famous Valpolicella area. This wine comes from a skillful blend of Corvinone, Corvina Veronese and Rondinella grapes, harvested by hand in small baskets.
Fermentation takes place in the traditional way, with maceration in contact with the skins lasting 10 to 15 days. After a short period in steel tanks, the wine undergoes a second fermentation on the Amarone pomace for about 10 days, and then ages for about 12 months in oak barrels and further in bottles before being marketed.
Tasting Notes.: by. deep red color, with garnet highlights. The nose is rich, with nuances of ripe cherry and spices. On the palate the wine is dry, full-bodied, with great structure.
Pairings: perfect with meats, cheeses, aged cheeses and pork.
