Feudi di San Gregorio's Aglianico Irpinia Rubrato is a wine designed and made to introduce the pleasantness of this grape variety, grown in the characteristic lands of Irpinia, even in its youth. Fermentation and maceration take place over 2-3 weeks in steel tanks; also in steel, the wine is left to mature for a short time, about 10 months, after which it enters the bottle, where it rests another 6 months before release.
TASTING:
Feudi's Aglianico Rubrato 2018 presents itself in the glass with a brilliant intense ruby red. The nose is young and explosive in notes of dark wild fruit, underbrush and licorice balsams. On the sip it is fragrant, warm, fruity, savory, with a balsamic finish. A very versatile wine, particularly enjoyable served slightly chilled, with friarielli and sausages, as with pizza, and again, with Neapolitan Casatiello or eggplant parmigiana.
