L'Aglianico Irpinia Rubrato of Feudi di San Gregorio is a wine designed and made to introduce the pleasantness of this grape variety, grown in the characteristic lands of theIrpinia, even in its youth.
Tasting Notes: A brilliant deep ruby red. The nose is young and explosive in notes of dark wild fruit, underbrush and licorice balsams. On the sip it is fragrant, warm, fruity, savory, with a balsamic finish.
Pairings: Very versatile wine, particularly enjoyable served lightly chilled, with friarielli and sausages, as with pizza, and again, with Neapolitan casatiello or eggplant parmigiana.
- Aglianico 2016 Doc Irpinia Serpico
It is in the heart of the Taurasi that "Serpico," an extraordinary aglianico from some of the oldest vines in Feudi di San Gregorio. A wine able to excite like few others thanks to a depth, an elegance, a territorial adherence truly out of the ordinary. L'Irpinia Aglianico DOC "Serpico" from the Feudi di San Gregorio has a taste capable of teleporting the taster to the province of Avellino, to that beautiful vineyard.
Tasting notes: by. ruby red color dark, the nose expresses all the depth of the great Aglianico thanks to a bouquet that ranges from cherry jam to vanilla, from licorice to coffee and cocoa. In the mouth it is balanced, composed yet powerful. A taste with a marked minerality that does not discount and conquers, no ifs or buts. Great also on the finish, with a very long persistence.
Pairings: elegant and deep, the "Serpico" of Feudi di San Gregorio è Red wine which finds its ideal pairing with main courses of red meat, perhaps roasted. Also at the end of a meal, with a large plate of aged cheeses.
- Sparkling wine Brut Classic Method Dubl Rosé Edition I
DUBL's "Edition I," a Rosé version, comes mainly from grapes grown in the Aglianico growing area. Aged for 78 months on the lees, it is a Sparkling wine Brut Metodo Classico of great expressiveness, vivid and articulate.
Tasting Notes.: Coral; fine and persistent perlage. The nose is expressed with hints of wild strawberries and pomegranate, hints of rosehips and mineral hints. The palate is lively, vivacious and balanced.
Pairings: Also perfect throughout a meal, it is best tried with cured meats and pizza.
