An indigenous grape variety of the Colli Orientali del Friuli, schioppettino is also known as ribolla nera and, after even risking extinction, is now being enhanced thanks in part to the work of wineries such as the family's Sirch. Left to rest for about a year in barrique, it is a Schioppettino - the one produced by the winery in Cividale del Friuli - that conquers in every way, starting from the color, intense and bright, and then moving on to the aromas, intriguing and sensual, up to the taste, balanced, fresh and fruity. It is a Schioppettino with all the makings: what are you waiting for to put it in your cart?
Tasting notes: by. ruby red color intense color, with evident purplish reflections at the glass. The nose is opened by gentle hints of berries, then enriched by spicy hints, black pepper in particular. The mouth is fresh and rightly tannic, as fruity as the nose and with excellent persistence.
Pairings: also ideal throughout a meal with a menu of earthy cuisine, it is perfect with pasta with meat sauce.
