The first harvest of Feudo del Pisciotto's new vineyards was in 2007, a harvest that despite the young age of the vines yielded extraordinary results for all varieties. Paolo Panerai, who controls the winery and is also the owner of Castellare di Castellina and of Rocca di Frassinello, thus thought of celebrating its excellence and marrying wine with the highest expression of made in Italy, namely fashion.
Donatella Versace, who loves the king of Sicilian reds, chose the symbol of the house, the Medusa, for her Nero d'Avola. A red that better than others expresses the character of Sicily, its purity and extraordinary elegance.
Tasting notes: by ruby red color intense. The nose stands out with delicate and persistent notes of red berry fruits such as black currants, blueberries and cherries. Full, velvety and persistent it aims for elegant harmony on the whole.
Pairings: Throughout the meal, it is a wine that goes well with roasted red meats, game, mature and flavorful cheeses.
