Among the successes of the farm Gillardi Harys, a Syrah-based Langhe Rosso aged for 18 months in small wooden barrels used for at least 10 years, stands out.
The name Harys, which is "Syrah" spelled backwards, pays homage to the family's historical connection Gillardi with the classic grape varieties of the Rhone Valley. A curiosity: each year the same label is offered in a different color!
Tasting Notes: color ruby red with garnet highlights, moderately transparent, rather alcoholic and tannic, and good body. Elegant and refined, distinguished by a more or less pronounced black pepper aroma.
Pairings: pairs perfectly with aged cheeses and with main meat dishes, such as stews and roasts.
