The Terre Siciliane Frappato IGT signed Baglio di Pianetto comes from grapes grown in Noto, on clay and limestone soils. Matured in steel for about 14 months and, then, left to rest in the bottle for another three, it is a fragrant, pleasantly consistent red wine with a surprising aftertaste that goes well with the most traditional Sicilian cuisine.
Tasting Notes: by. color rruby bone. The nose is pleasantly intense; it expresses itself with hints of morello cherries and red plums and notes of roses. The palate reveals fine quality, light in tannins and firm in flavor. Persistent.
Pairings: versatile in pairing, it is ideal to accompany the typical Sicilian pasta "c’anciova e muddica atturrata".
