Baglio di Pianetto presents us with a fascinating and original Grillo from Sicily DOC, made from grapes grown organically and harvested above 650 meters above sea level, on clay soils extremely rich in minerals.
Thanks to the unique microclimate, this Grillo is clearly distinguished from those produced on the Sicilian coast, offering a particularly fresh and savory sip, characterized by bursting minerality.
Temperature-controlled processing in steel silos and brief aging on yeasts further enhance the terroir and raw material, offering an intense, citrusy and saline white, reminiscent of the sea and the Mediterranean scrub.
Tasting notes: by. color straw yellow bright with greenish reflections. The nose traces typical varietal nuances, with white flowers and citrus in the foreground, followed by hints of Mediterranean scrub and long mineral finish. Salty and citrusy on the palate, it perfectly replicates the olfactory set-up, offering a slender, slender sip.
Pairings: ottimate with not too elaborate seafood cuisine, but also as an aperitif, paired with fresh cheeses and small appetizers.
