Among the oldest indigenous grape varieties of the Terre Siciliane, that of Zibibbo is anuva characterized by unintense aromaticity, and for this reason it is often vinified to produce passito and sweet wines. In the dry version, however, it equally succeeds in expressing itself by proposing what are the peculiar traits of the territory of the Big Island, giving a sip that harmonizes between soft and sweet nuances, and fresh and fragrant tones. Vinified exclusively in steel and left to rest for three months on the lees, it is a simple and immediate Zibibibbo, but at the same time qualitatively impeccable. A wonderful alternative answer to classic bubbles, it is a perfect white to uncork for laperitivo in combination with smoked fish: you will make everyone happy!
Tasting Notes: Light straw yellow color, bright and elegant to the eye. The nose is intense and aromatic, characterized by a rich and deep olfactory bouquet, in which hints of orange blossom, citrus and white peach can be recognized. The palate follows the path traced by the nose, proving fresh and balanced at the same time, finally long in persistence.
Pairings: Ideal to uncork for laperitivo, it should be tried in combination with crostini with smoked swordfish.
