Fermentation in temperature-controlled steel, resting for nine months on the fine lees, part in steel and part in wooden barrels: the steps are simple and straightforward, but scrupulously respected. You can judge the result for yourself by trying the Pinot Bianco "Versalto," a son of the lands of Alto Adige and produced by the "Alois Lageder" winery.
It is a Pinot Bianco with all the pieces in the right place, aromatic but not too much, fresh but soft at the same time, flowing but with good structure. It is a Pinot Blanc that will win you over in every way.
Tasting Notes: It presents itself to the eye as a beautiful straw yellow. The nose is aromatic, with hints of yellow apple and white-fleshed peach. Mineral nuances complete the bouquet. In the mouth it is full-bodied, smooth, well worked in the acid shoulder and with good persistence.
Pairings: Ideal to accompany seafood cuisine, it is excellent with sea bass in bread crust.
