Careful selection of the best grapes from the estate in this Reserve, to obtain from each vintage a wine that best interprets the terroir of the Chianti Classico. Only native grape varieties, without Cabernet nor Merlot.
Tasting notes: the color of this Chianti Classic is that ruby red of Sangioveto. Fragrant, fresh with pleasant hints of red fruit, licorice, currants and a light touch of vanilla. Typical notes of Chianti Sangiovese dominate. It expresses a pleasant sweetness. Round, soft and savory, with tannins that become increasingly velvety with age. Acidity and persistence characterize a very elegant aftertaste.
Pairings: Perfect with roasted red and white meats, but also goes very well with poultry, hare and various cheeses.
