L'Ornello of Rocca di Frassinello is the result of a painstaking selection of syrah, sangiovese, cabernet sauvignon and merlot grapes. After vinification in steel, the wine matures in barriques, both new and used, for about 6 months. In the glass it stands out for its richness and texture.
This decisive red has the ability to surprise even many years after harvest. The name "Ornello" refers to a long pointed stick used by cowboys to guide their cattle.
Tasting Notes: by ruby red color intense. The nose has balsamic and roasted coffee notes. In the mouth notes of underbrush and a very soft and velvety tannin.
Pairings: perfect throughout a meal, ideal as a start with cured meats and cheeses.
