The Chianti Classico Tenuta Perano comes from the hills of Gaiole in Chianti, from vineyards positioned at 500 meters above sea level. The south-southwest exposure, and especially the amphitheater shape of the vineyards, favors insolation and concentrates heat.
Tasting notes: brilliant purplish color. On the nose, floral hints are joined by fruity notes of blackberry, raspberry and cherry. This is followed by balsamic notes of eucalyptus and thyme, minerals of graphite and spicy notes of pink pepper. The tannic texture is typical of Chianti Classico, able to caress the palate, leaving it clean and fresh. Persistent and intense even in the finish, with hints of walnut husk.
Pairings: ideal with meat ragouts and all red meats. It is exalted in pairings with medium- and long-aged cheeses.
