La Riserva del Conte is a collector's wine, produced exclusively in the finest vintages. It represents a tribute to the challenge that Count Giuseppe Tasca undertook in 1959: to create a Sicilian wine that could compete with the best in the world. The 2016 edition, born from an analytically and organoleptically perfect vintage, comes from the historic San Lucio bush vineyard and is made from a blend of Perricone and Nero d'Avola.
Tasting Notes.: di color brilliant ruby red, the nose reveals intense hints of spices, licorice and coffee, with delicate fruity notes in the background. The palate is very elegant, harmonious and with good freshness and smoothness. The finish is very long, with notes of pomegranate.
Pairings: goes well with elegant meat dishes. Excellent on roasts and with medium-aged cheeses.
