It is on the border between the territory of the Colli Orientali del Friuli appellation and Slovenia, more than three hundred meters above sea level, that we encounter the ancient village of Cladrecis, from which we get this Rosso targato Sirch. Blend composed of a merlot base, to which a smaller percentage of schioppettino is added, is left to rest in steel for three months, and then aged for a year in first- and second-passage barriques.
Tasting Notes.: To the eye it gives a beautiful ruby red, intense and clear. The nose opens on fruity hints of blueberry and berries in general, then continues with memories of humus and officinal herbs, and closes on mineral notes. The mouth is vigorous but elegant at the same time, with good body and excellent length, slightly spicy in the aftertaste.
Pairings: perfect with meat second courses, it is excellent with baked pork loin in a bread crust.
