A real challenge: Gewürztraminer and Semeillon blended in equal parts to create a passito atypical for Sicily. The intensely aromatic notes of Gewürztraminer marry perfectly with the excellent structure of Semeillon; the whole is supported by perfect acidity.
Tasting notes: baltic amber. Warm and intense olfactory impact with candied fruit, date and peach in syrup, blossoming orange blossoms and honey, briny effluvia enhanced by buttery and toasted dried fruit nuances. Very warm and sweet it is made agile by the fresh savory combination. Endlessly persistent finish with richly spiced candied echoes.
Pairing: a end meal, it goes well with cream and cottage cheese desserts. Excellent with a blue cheese platter
